I think the best way to develop the English skills is going to abroad and study with professioned teachers. So, in my class, my classmates and I are going to go on a camp to improve our English skill. There are some options, which are Camp Big Apple, Ranch West Camp, and Head Start Splash. Each have good things and bad things, so it is very hard to decide after just reading the features of each camp. Therefore, I decided to summarize the good things and bad things of each camps, and compare and contrast them, then I will decide which camp to join. Also, I will choose one camp by some criterias, which are various experiences, place to live, teachers who teach, and how does camp takes long.
In the beginning, I will compare these three camps in this paragraph. At frist, three camps also have very good teachers. All of the teachers in three camps can speak English very well so that they can teach the studetns who join prefessional. Second, all those camps have fun activities. Although the type of the activities are different, there are some fun activities. In the Camp Big Apple, there will be tours of the city, trips to local museums, and tickets to broadway shows. In the Ranch West Camp, there will be horseback riding, river drafting, canoeing, and mountaidn biking. Similar as this camp, Head Start Splash have some activities like fishing, a trip to a local butterfly garden and visits to local exotic animal refuges. Those activities will be very fun to the students who join the camps. Next, all of the three camps are in overseas. The Camp Big Apple will be in New York City, Ranch West Camp will be in Canada, and Head Start Splash will be in Cebu, whoch located in Philiphines.
Then, I will write contrast between the three camps. For the first criteria, which is various expereinces, Ranch West camp only fits. In the Ranch West camp, there will be horeseback riding, river rafting, hiking, canoeing, and mountain biking. But in Camp big apple, there will be some activities like tours of the city and trip to local museums which look like very boring. Also, in Head Start Splash, there are some activities which are snorkeliong, fishing, a trip to a local butterfly garden and visits to local exotic animal refuges. I really hate some special animals, which are disgusting. Therefore, it doesn't fit to my style of activity.
For the next criteria, which is place to live, which is very important, Camp Big Apple and Head Start Splash camp fit to it. In the Camp Big Apple, the studetns will live in the dormitories withe foreign friends. This will be very great to me, who really like to live in a dormitory, so I really like GLPS life, too. Anyway, the Camp Big Apple exactly fits to the criteria that I mentioned. Alike to the Camp big Apple, the students in the Head Start Splash will live in the small apartment, which will be very comfortable. Contrast to two camps, in the Ranch West Camp, the studetns will stay in a home-stay situation for the duration of the camp, and I think this will be very uncomfortable to me.
Next, the third criteria which is teachers who teaches, exactly fits to the Ranch West camp, because it said the students will be taught by teachers who are from the local University, which means the teachers will be native speakers. In contrast, in Camp Big Apple, all calsses will be taught by Korean Professors with at least MA. Even though, I want native speakers with precise pronuncitation, not a Korean professors.
At last, I will talk about the last standard, which is how does camp takes long. Similar as third standard, only the Rach West Camp fit to this standard. I think the best duration of the camp is 4 weeks, and Ranch West takes 4 weeks. In contrast, other two camps are too short, or too long to join.
By summarizing the features of three camps, I decided to join the Ranch West Camp, by the four standards, which are various experiences, place to live, teacher who teach, and how long does the camp takes. And Ranch West camp fits to first, third, and fourth standards. Straightforwardly, I wanted to join the Ranch West camp at first, too. However, to do not regret, I summarized the features of three camps. Finally, I decided to join the RANCH WEST CAMP to improve my classmates' and my English skills.
Nice, but I think we can work a little more on having smoother transitions. I looks like you just stuck some of those in because I told you to. Also, you need to establish the "standard" better. You can't just say "length of camp is standard". I think you may mean to use "criteria" or "factor" instead. Good work overall, though
