What the World Eats- Germany

     *This story is not true; just an explanation of picture as a family member.

  
     Hello everyone? My name is Catherine Melander. I am from Germany, and I will explain about the foods that our foods love to eat. In beginning, please understand me that I am not in the picture because I took the picture for my family. (Straightforwardly, I didn't want people to see my pretty face:)) And from now, I am going to talk about some German foods which will be very interesting.

     Look at the picture. What can you see in the picture at first? I think you guys will be able to see a lot of bottles. Also I think you guys can guess what is in that bottles. As you guess, those bottles are the beer. In past, in German, the water was in scarcity, so they started to drink the beer instead of water. And still the beer is treated as water to Germans. I heard that beer costs very expensive in othercountries, however, in Germany, beer is very cheap, which costs 700won in Korean money. It menas, it is very cheap. Also, Germany's beer is very pure, which made without some chemical materials.  Anyway, our family loves beer, except for my brothers, so they always have beer on the eating table.
     We love some meats, too. But above a lot of kind of meats, we really love to eat Bacon and Herring. I guess that you guys are able to see the bacon in the picture, may be you cannot. Anyhow, bacon is processed goods of pig meat. And herring is long-silver colored fish. Herring lives in groups in the sea. I heard that the Vikings' staple food was herring. In any rate, We usually go to the food court and eat bacon ad herring. I always eat bacon, which is better than herring. But, herring is also delicious.
     At last, I will explain one more foods that my family loves. My family loves pizza. I think you are able to see the pizza which is on right bottom of the picture. Pizza is common food, but my family really loves it. When there is no more new foods, we always go to pizza restaurant and eatsome pizza. My 5 family members, which included me, we can eat 5 pieces each. This is not amazing, it is common in Germany, but other countries' people do not think like that. Anyhow, we love pizza.

     There are more foods in Germany, and my family loves all the foods of Germany. Those foods can be little buttery, but that's our way, and our style to eat. Those foods are very good, and I offer to eat those foods are really delicious and amazing. When if you come to Germany, and find me, then I will show you more amazing foods except foods that I mentioned. Oh! This is lunch time, I hop my lunch ius delicious bacon!
